Light has a great influence on the color of Coleus leaves. When there is sufficient sunlight, the leaf color will be much brighter, but avoid exposure to the scorching sun in midsummer. Excessive sunlight will cause the leaves to become rough and lose their gloss. Of course, the color of Coleus leaves is not bright when it has been in a shaded environment for a long time.

Temperature requirements

Coleus likes a warm and humid environment and requires relatively fresh air. In winter, control the room temperature at 20~25℃, and the lowest overwintering temperature cannot be lower than 10℃. If the temperature is too low, the leaves will turn yellow and fall off, and the plants will gradually die if the temperature is below 5℃. Coleus is prone to damping-off disease during the seedling stage, so attention should be paid to disinfecting the soil during planting. When cultivating coleus indoors, scale insects, red spiders and whiteflies are prone to damage. You can choose to spray omethoate 1000 times solution.
