Soil requirements
Ji Qiuli, like other succulents, prefers well-drained, transparent, sandy soil. So that excess water can fully evaporate and promote the growth of its roots.
We can use a mixture of pine needle soil, leaf humus soil, and sand soil in equal proportions.
Light requirements
The more sufficient light and the greater the temperature difference between day and night, the more pink the leaves of Ji Qiuli will be. When there is insufficient light, Ji Qiuli's leaves will appear gray-green and dull.
Temperature requirements
Ji Qiuli grows faster in spring and autumn. When the temperature is below 5℃ or above 35℃, Ji Qiuli will take emergency measures by itself, stop growing and enter a dormant state.
Moisture requirements
The leaves of Ji Qiuli are thick and contain high moisture inside. Therefore, they should not be overwatered to prevent the occurrence of root rot.
Under normal growth conditions, water once every 10 days or so and then water thoroughly.
