Baiyinshou likes a warm and dry environment, is relatively drought-tolerant, and is afraid of hot summer and cold winter.

The optimal growth temperature of Baiyinshou is between 15℃ and 25℃, and the growth period is in spring and autumn.

Long-term water shortage will cause the leaves to shrink; extreme heat will stop them from growing; too low temperatures will cause the water-rich leaves to freeze and become necrotic.

How to care for Baiyinshou

Baiyinshou can be placed in a place with bright light and no direct sunlight. The potting soil can be peat soil, coupled with a well-drained medium. For example: pearl stone, vermiculite, etc.

Water only when the pot soil is dry and water thoroughly. Plants like Baiyinshou do not have high requirements for fertilizer, and an appropriate amount of organic matter will suffice.

The growth of Baiyinshou plants slows down or even stops when the temperature is high in summer. It needs to be placed in a ventilated and cool place to avoid plant rot caused by hot and humid weather and avoid accumulation of water in the soil.
