Digging a trench and placing it in it, watering it, and applying horse manure can also cultivate raspberry seedlings.

Layering propagation method

In August every year, pull the front part of the raspberry branch to the ground and bury it in the soil, or push down the entire branch and bury it, so that elegant and new shoots can sprout that year. When the branches grow into strong branches and cut off the connection with the mother body, a new raspberry seedling is born!

Cutting method

Autumn , cut off the annual branches that have reached 40 centimeters in length and store them in the cellar. Take them out in early spring, dig a one-meter-wide border and insert the two ends of the stored branches. The distance between the plants is about 20cm long, two rows and one border, in an arc shape, and young sprouts will sprout. Cut them off when they are budding, so that you can get two raspberry seedlings at once.
