Appearance characteristics: Its leaves are oval, oblong or oval, with a length of about three to nine centimeters and a width of one to three and a half centimeters. The flowers are very large, five to eleven centimeters in diameter. The sepals are oval or oblong, with a length of 2.5 to 5.5 cm and a width of 1.5 to 3.5 cm. It blooms from April to July and bears fruit from July to August.

Distribution: This species is concentrated in areas with altitudes of 2550-3800m in Tibet, 1700-4000m in Sichuan, and around 1400m in Henan Province.

Distribution area: Mainly distributed in the north of Yunnan Province and the southwestern part of Sichuan Province in my country. The main altitude range is 2,400 to 3,000 meters.
