Tongtuomu breeding methods and precautions
1. Soil

1. Soil

Tongtuomu does not have strict requirements on soil conditions. It grows well in red soil, brown soil, cinnamon soil and sandy soil, especially in loose, fertile and well-drained soil. Grows best in sandy soil.

2. Light

It is suitable for growing in sunny places. It is recommended to plant it on the balcony or outdoor in a sunny and ventilated place, so that it can grow better.

3. Temperature

It likes a warm environment and is not cold-tolerant. The temperature in winter should not be lower than 8℃. During low temperature periods, it is necessary to keep warm to help it survive the winter safely. The most suitable temperature for its growth throughout the year is 15-25°C, and it needs appropriate shade and cooling in summer.

4. Watering

It is suitable for growing in a humid environment, is not drought-tolerant, and is afraid of waterlogging. When the soil is dry, you need to water it immediately. It is best to keep the soil in a moist state. Be sure to water it thoroughly every time, but do not accumulate water, otherwise it will cause damage to the root system of the plant. Under normal circumstances, it is enough to water once every two days in summer, spring and autumn. In winter, the frequency of watering should be appropriately reduced, and watering once every five days or so is sufficient.

5. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer, and some farmyard manure can be applied during the growth period to facilitate its growth. However, farmyard manure must be fully decomposed before it can be applied, and top dressing is sufficient roughly twice a year.
