Peach trees can be cut from hard branches or soft branches. Hard branches are usually cut in spring, and soft branches are usually cut from June to July during the rainy season. When cutting, choose thicker branches, trim off some leaves, and cut diagonally at the bottom and flatly at the top. After disinfecting with carbendazim, dip it in some rooting water, and finally insert it 2/3 into the substrate.

Peach tree cuttings can be made from either hard branches or soft branches. When using different branches, the time is also different. Usually, hard branch cuttings are mostly done in spring, while soft branch cuttings are done during the rainy season, which is around June to July. Choosing the right time when cutting can increase the chance of survival.

2. Cutting Method

1. Pruning: Whether you use hard branches or soft branches, you must choose thick and healthy branches. The length is generally controlled at about 18-20cm.

2. Treatment: 3 pieces need to be kept on the branches Leaves should also be cut in half so water evaporates more slowly. The top should be cut flat, and the lower end should be cut with a smooth bevel.

3. Disinfection: Prepare the substrate and disinfect it. After pruning the branches, simply disinfect them with carbendazim, and then dip them in rooting water.

4. Cuttings: After sterilizing the substrate and cuttings, insert the cuttings into the substrate to about 2/3 of the length. Then fix it and pour water to maintain humidity.
