At first, Yin Lanmo was hesitant about whether to give up the job for which he had struggled for a long time and live with his husband. They separated and returned to the countryside to live with their children and elderly people. After expressing her concerns, Lan Mo's husband immediately expressed support and allowed her to do what she wanted to do and realize their garden dream.

With the help of her husband, both parents understood her. After going through some twists and turns, she decided to do gardening, which could satisfy her garden dream and have a career at the same time.

The first thing to solve when building a garden is the land issue. The land connected to Lan Mo’s yard belongs to her uncle’s family. At first, she was worried that her uncle would not agree to her expropriation. Unexpectedly, after hearing her plan, her uncle Immediately agreed.

When the garden was first built, her father-in-law was the most supportive. Unfortunately, he passed away due to a car accident. She also thought about whether to give up and continue the construction. Later, her husband said that her father would definitely like to see the garden completed. So Lan Mo continued on the road to the garden with this belief.

The open space has always been abandoned, and the terrain is uneven. In order to fill in the land, 18 trucks of soil were used to cover the several hundred square meters of the yard.

Lan Mo is not a professional and has no idea how to start with such a large place. Fortunately, he has his younger brother running around to help with the design drawings.

After the drawings are designed, the construction of the garden officially begins. The first thing to build was the pond, which is the most difficult part of the garden. At first, we used geomembrane as the base and gravel paving.

Later, the geomembrane ruptured and caused water leakage, so the pond had to be opened up and rebuilt. In order to prevent water leakage in the future, the bottom of the pond was replaced with concrete.

In order to increase the beauty of the pond, she also put flowers on the pond A small wooden bridge was built.

Worried that the garden soil would be washed onto the road by rain, she decided to make a roadbed. In order to avoid illegal construction, no cement was used in the roadbed, and all river pebbles and granite were used.

The fence of the small courtyard does not use traditional wooden fences, but uses more Zen-like bamboo fences.

The courtyard is very large, and it takes thousands of bamboo sections to make a bamboo fence. Although buying bamboo sections online is convenient, it is a big expense. After Lan Mo's father heard about it, he said that there was bamboo in his hometown and he would solve the problem.

Although Lan Mo told his father several times not to cut it himself, his father said that he did not trust others doing the work. The bamboo cut by others would definitely not be as beautiful and well-proportioned as the one he picked.

There was a thick layer of dirt on the surface of the bamboo. In order to make it easier to paint the fence in the future, she decided to clean it all. The workload was so large that her mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother came together to help.

She also endured many difficulties during the construction of the bamboo fence. There was little criticism, and the incomprehensible villagers accused her of "having nothing to do when she was full" and "faffing around"... But with the comfort and help of her family, the bamboo fence was successfully completed!

It took a lot of effort to build a plastic garden shed for gardening exhibitions. It took several months with the seller to finalize the building materials. During the construction process, the hired master kept complaining that the construction was too difficult and the building materials were too expensive. Bad and so on.

Fortunately, the garden shed was successfully built. In the winter of 2016, Lan Mo’s garden had basically taken shape.

The road to the garden continues. After finishing the pond, bamboo fence, and greenhouse, she began to slowly add flowers and plants to the yard.

From 2016 to 2018, with the support of my family, It took Yin Lanmo two years to realize his original garden dream and create a beautiful kingdom of flowers and plants for his daughter, adding a lot of fun to her childhood.
