Reason: Orchids generally do not have a high demand for water, as long as the potting soil of the plant is kept slightly moist. If the amount of watering is not controlled well and exceeds the amount that its roots can absorb, the excess water will accumulate in the soil and form water, which will affect the roots and slowly make them soft.

Measures: It needs to be taken out of the pot as soon as possible, and some broken and rotten roots should be cut off, and then soaked in potassium permanganate solution or carbendazim solution for 20 to 30 minutes for disinfection, and then taken out. 3. Too much fertilizer

Reason: Orchids do not have a very strong demand for fertilizers, but they have strict requirements on fertilization. They do not like thick fertilizers, so the amount of fertilization must be strictly controlled. If too much fertilizer is applied and the plant cannot absorb it, resulting in excess nutrients, the fertilizer remaining in the soil will cause its roots to become soft.

Measures: It needs to be watered in time to dilute the excess fertility in the pot soil and allow the excess fertilizer to flow out from the drainage holes at the bottom of the flower pot. Then place it in a ventilated place with scattered light, loosen the soil as much as possible, and let the pot soil dry out as soon as possible.
